Why we started
It is easy to send money home to Zimbabwe. It is much harder to send a hot plate of food to the people you love. And for families at home, especially outside the big cities, ordering a good meal still means phoning around, waiting on WhatsApp replies and hoping someone finds the gate.
Delivery apps exist, but most stop at the edge of one city, and too many orders arrive late, cold or wrong. Great cooks in smaller towns never get found at all.
Dishi is built for the whole country: checked kitchens in every town, honest prices in US dollars, real updates from kitchen to gate, and a simple way for anyone, at home or abroad, to send a meal to someone they love.
